Tile Game
Aznif
A four-seat partnership tile game played across Kurdistan. You and the player opposite you are a team, everyone gets seven tiles, there is no boneyard to draw from, and points come from the numbers left in your opponents' hands. Played 2v2 online, or one against one.
📖 How to Play
Find a Table
Tap the Aznif card and choose to play 2v2 with a random partner, invite a friend to be your teammate, or play 1v1. You can also practise offline against bots.
Know Your Partner
The player sitting opposite you is your teammate and your scores are shared. The two players either side of you are the opposition, and play moves around the table one seat at a time.
Play a Matching Tile
Add a tile to either open end of the line, matching the number already showing. With seven tiles each and nothing to draw from, every tile you play is one you will not have later.
Pass When You Cannot Play
There is no boneyard in Aznif. If nothing in your hand matches either end, your turn simply passes to the next player — which tells the whole table something about what you are holding.
Score the Round
A round ends when someone empties their hand, or when nobody can play. The winning side scores the pips left in the losing side's hands, and the first team to the target score takes the match.
