Full online chess with ranked matchmaking, friendly invites, and offline play against a bot. Four time controls — Bullet, Blitz, Rapid and Classical — each with its own rating. Unlock boards and pieces, earn achievements, and climb the leaderboards.

📖 How to Play

Open Chess

From the main menu, tap the Chess card. You'll see your rank card with your rating for the selected time control. Switch between Bullet, Blitz, Rapid and Classical to see your rating, peak, and games for each ladder.

Pick a Mode

Choose Ranked to find an online opponent near your rating, Friendly to invite a friend, or vs Bot to practise offline against one of three difficulty levels.

Play the Match

Drag a piece to a legal square. Your clock runs while it's your turn. Chat and emoji reactions sit next to the player cards. You can offer a draw or resign from the header.

Win, Rank Up & Unlock

Win games to raise your rating for that time control. Higher tiers unlock new boards and piece sets (six of each), and you can earn 25 achievements as you play. Check the per-mode leaderboards to see where you stand.

Lost your connection? ♟️ No problem — Chess reconnects you straight back to the board where you left off, with the clock kept fair for both players.
